AKA the night that Daniel Handler called me a skank. This was for a great Shipwreck SF event, run by Amy Stephenson and Casey Childers and hosted by The Booksmith. Hear the reading of some pretty meta tentacle porn here.
You can read a short story I wrote about being a female, and also pregnant, and also overwhelmed on Joyland Magazine, here. It was edited by Kara Levy, who also happens to go to same gym as me.
Recently, I did a little stint of guest blogging for Boing Boing, which was super fun. My favorite article I wrote was about Cal's secret hyena colony, which you can read here. You can see all the articles I wrote here, including but not limited to: a review of Grasshopper Jungle, an interview with M.T. Anderson and a review of The X-Files-Files.
I've written some smutty things but I think this one is kind of the worst. Written for the Masculinity themed Give Me Fiction, and remembered in shame. If the player above is acting finicky, you can listen here, too.
You can read a story I wrote about a woman on what seems like a really bad internet date, here. It was published by Midnight Breakfast, but originally written for Write Club SF.
Thanks to the editors over at The-Tusk.com, a new short story I wrote is available for you to read. It's about San Francisco, so it's about privilege, of course and obviously, and also zombies which is somewhat less obvious, I guess.
If you want to read more original content written by weirdos, by all means donate to The-Tusk immediately, so they can keep doing what they're doing forever.
Thanks to the amazing Ivan Hernandez, and his event series Give Me Fiction, you can catch a story I wrote on boingboing.com OR listen to me read it on soundcloud.
Maybe don't listen to it at work though. I don't know your office situation, but regardless. It's probably a safe assumption.
